Requirements for Entry into Canada

Flying to Edmonton, AB Canada

If flying into Edmonton, you will need to fly into Edmonton International Airport (YEG). YEG is about 25-35 minute drive outside into the city of Edmonton and the University of Alberta.

To and From the Airport

There is no public train service from YEG into Edmonton.

There is a city bus service, which transports between the airport and a subway stop (LRT), which you can then take to the University subway stop. Bus service can be found here: www.edmonton.ca/ets/edmonton-international-airport

Taxi service from YEG to the University of Alberta is 62CAD. Taxi fares to and from YEG are fixed prices set by the government, so you should not pay more than the fixed price (plus any tip). Fixed fare can be found here (U Alberta is in zone 133).
